2023 Farmshare Policies

Starting with the 2023 CSA season, we will be using a program called Farmigo to help manage the members payments and customization. With it, farmshare subscribers have online access to their own accounts.

Payment: We accept payment by credit card (on Farmigo) or paper check in mail.

Pay in Full Option: In a traditional CSA model, payment upfront for the full season represents a buy-in from members for the farming season ahead. The upfront payment is very helpful to us for the early season labor and supplies expenses, when there is a great deal of energy going into preparing for a season of abundant vegetables.

Weekly shares cost $35 (Seattle) and $32 (Sequim an PA)

Full payment for 2023 comes to $770 (Seattle) and $704 (Sequim and PA)

Home deliveries are an additional $10 per week (Seattle), $8 per week (Sequim)

Payment Plan Option: We will be offering a 4 installment payment option for 2023. With this plan you would pay ahead for 6 weeks of produce at each installment. The first 6-week installment is at sign up, the second installment is paid for 6 weeks after your farmshare season begins (mid July for Full members, mid August for Heart of the Season members), third installment is made 6 weeks later and the last installment is made 6 weeks after that. Home delivery is an additional charge ($8-$10). These payments can be set up on autopay so that you don’t have to remember to pay and you never miss a week of veggies by forgetting a payment!

Communication: During the course of the season, you will receive email communications from us including:

  • Box on hold notice

  • Site changes / updates

  • Special announcements (new items available in CSA store, delivery changes due to holidays, etc.)

  • Site member communication (issues / changes at your site or important communication from your site host)

Please read the emails we send! They often contain important and helpful information about your shares or delivery notes.

Please add farmshare@riverrun.farm to your address book to protect our communications from spam filters.

Share Customization: You will receive a reminder email each week to customize your share (swapping items from our online store) for the following week. You do not need to make changes to your share if you do not want to. There will always be fresh delicious veggies for you whether or not you customize.

Pick Up: At the pick up site please only take produce from the box with your name on it! Each share is individualized and paid for by the member whose name is on the box label.

Pick up Locations:

Peninsula: Sequim and Port Angeles

Seattle: Madrona, Capitol Hill, Queen Anne, University District, Ballard, Fremont, Phinney Ridge

More Seattle pick up sites TBD! Stay tuned

Changes to pick up location: You will have the ability to change your pick up location during the course of the season as necessary. This can be done in your farmigo account.

Putting a box on Hold: You will have the ability to put your box on hold by logging in to your farmigo account.

Credit will not be given if you fail to pick up your box.

Refund / Credit: If you believe you deserve credit for missing or damaged produce, please email us. We will evaluate cases individually. Be sure to include what day/time you picked up the produce, how it was stored, and pictures if possible. We want to share the best quality produce possible, so your feedback helps us improve our systems and catch issues early on.

We encourage subscribers to give us feedback about box quality and contents by emailing us at farmshare@riverrun.farm.

Cancellation: To cancel your farmshare subscription, send us an email. We understand that things come up suddenly, but if you can, please give us at least two weeks' notice if you are canceling (moving, change in situation, etc.).
